UIDUK are now supplying a combined RFID and Bar code label that has been encased in a resin on the surface of the label. Initial trials have been successful and they are receiving positive feedback from users. This asset tracking option would give users the ability to code the label with 1D, 2D and 3D bar codes to suit their own stock systems backed up with the RFID solution when you do not have line of sight. This really is a "best of both worlds" solution.
